The Greenhouse
The Greenhouse project is a nearly completed project that will allow for a longer growing season for the Garden of Hope. The Greenhouse is located on the property of Andrew’s House of Hope and will allow the residents of the house to have more gardening time in order to continue developing the holistic skills that our program offers almost year round.
Once complete, the greenhouse will be used to start plants for the Garden of Hope, the house’s own garden, along with having a space for year round growing and more importantly, financial support through way of employment for the residents of Andrew’s House of Hope.
The Chicken Coop
As part of the theme of holistic living that we strive to offer our residents for a means of employment, we also have a small flock of chickens that have a newly constructed “chicken palace” where they live.
The coop will be used for expansion of the flock and serve as another means of employment for our residents. The eggs produced through the project will be used for the operation of the house along with sales of any extra eggs to the community.
